The TEC076 runs from either mains power or its own internal
batteries which last up to 10 hours, making it a truly wireless and
portable PA System.
It's
basically a 70 watt speaker on wheels, so although it's quite heavy
to lift it's easy to
trundle around! Ideal for meetings and training sessions,
village halls, scouts and clubs, schools, buskers, entertainers,
keep fit instructors, swimming pools and Karaoke - being battery
powered it's perfect for anyone who needs to be heard on the move!
It's
fantastic value for money because it comes complete with two wired
microphones and two wireless microphones (the receivers are
built into the unit). All 4 microphones can be used at the same
time. If you need a headset or a lapel mic you can also purchase an
additional pack that contains each of those plus a bodypack transmitter,
and you can use either the headset mic or the lapel mic in place of
one of the handheld wireless microphones. The bodypack is a small
box you wear on your belt, which connects to the headset or lapel
microphone by a short wire.
To give
you an idea of how loud this is, people who have previously bought
it are using it for dog training schools and arena displays, office
presentations, wedding reception speakers (up to 75 people), primary
schools and carnival floats! The sound is crisp and clear. If you're
using it outdoors it won't seem as loud as it does indoors. Indoors
or out, you can increase the area the sound covers by raising the
unit up to head-height on a stage, table or a speaker stand (there
is a standard speaker stand fitting on the bottom). For added power
you can link to a
TEC070, another TEC076, or if you have mains power available, to
any
powered speaker.
