What does PA stand for? |
'PA system' is short
for Public Address system. It's basically a system for amplifying sound -
voices or music - comprising speakers, amplifier, mixer and
microphone. Sometimes the mixer is built into the amplifier, and vice
versa.

No, not yet. It's next on the list, and - being us - you can bet it
will be just that little bit different so watch this space!

There isn't one. If we get a good deal from the manufacturers on a
certain product we'll pass a discount on to you. Special Offers are
only valid while stocks last, so it's first come - first served!

What's your Privacy Policy? |
We are
committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information
that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1998), and we will never collect sensitive information
about you without your explicit consent.
We will collect information you supply in order to process any order
you may make; to provide you with a quote for a customised PA package
if you use the PA system designer; to send you newsletters should you
wish to sign up for them, and to offer you best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your
consent by registering with us and we will not pass your details on to
anyone else. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email
from us in the future.
The type of information we may collect about you includes your name
and address, your phone number and email address, and for orders only,
your credit/debit card details.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check
the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any
inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. Any personal
information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our
internal security policy and the law.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors
to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored
on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this
happening.

How do I pay? |
You
can pay in the shop by credit or debit card, via our secure servers.
You can browse the shop then phone an order through and pay by credit
card over the telephone, or you can phone an order through and send us
a cheque. It's quicker to pay by credit or debit card as we have to
wait for a cheque to clear before the goods can be despatched. Cheques
should be payable to 'The Barns Music Group'. |

Which credit cards do you take? |
We will accept all major credit and debit cards.

How
much does delivery cost? |
We charge a flat rate £10 delivery fee, however large your order.
|

Where
do you deliver to? |
We deliver to Mainland UK and Ireland at the standard rate. Delivery
within the EU can be arranged - please enquire about the delivery
cost.

Can I
have my order delivered to a different address? |
Due to the increase in credit card fraud we are reluctant to deliver
to a different address to the one your credit/debit card is registered
to. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient for you, but it is the
only way we can be sure that the goods will be sent to the person who
has paid for them. We can tell you which day of the week your order
will be delivered or you can choose to pay extra for guaranteed
Saturday delivery if you would like to (approx. £25 more, depending
upon post code). Someone will need to be in to accept and sign for the
delivery.

What's
the delivery time? |
|
STANDARD 2-3 DAY DELIVERY TO ENGLAND, SCOTLAND & WALES VIA UPS:
Orders placed before 2pm will usually be delivered in 2 working days,
so orders placed on Monday morning would arrive between 9am and 5.30
pm on the Wednesday. UPS reserve the right to deliver 1 day later if
they are experiencing a backlog. Tracking codes will be provided so
that you can track the progress of your delivery. Delivery to remote
areas of Scotland could take an extra working day. STANDARD 5 DAY
DELIVERY TO IRELAND VIA MF LOGISTICS: Orders placed before
2pm will usually be delivered in 5 working days, so orders placed on
Monday morning would arrive between 9am and 5.30 pm on the following
Monday. Tracking codes will be provided so that you can track the
progress of your delivery. Goods to NI weighing less than 20kg can be
sent via UPS standard 2 day delivery as above.
Due to
their size, most items are shipped direct from the Manufacturers. Orders are shipped by UPS/MF
Logistics couriers or by Royal Mail and require a signature upon receipt. All items
are insured against loss or damage until signed for by you.
If an item is
out of stock we will contact you and advise on the likely delivery
date, and you will have the option to wait or to cancel the order.

need something delivered quickly or on a specific day? |
If you
need something urgently or at a specific date/time we can
arrange for special delivery, although it will cost you more than the
standard delivery of £10. Special delivery options are below, please
call or email us to arrange.
EXPRESS SAVER DELIVERY VIA UPS: Orders placed before 2pm are
guaranteed to be delivered in 2 working days, so orders placed on
Monday morning would arrive between 9am and 5.30 pm on the Wednesday.
Tracking codes will be provided so that you can track the progress of
your delivery. Cost: dependant upon delivery address, please enquire.
EXPRESS MORNING DELIVERY VIA UPS: Orders placed before 2pm are
guaranteed to be delivered in 2 working days before 12 noon, so orders
placed on Monday morning would arrive on the Wednesday morning.
Tracking codes will be provided so that you can track the progress of
your delivery. Cost: dependant upon delivery address, please enquire.
EXPRESS PLUS DELIVERY VIA UPS: Orders placed before 2pm are
guaranteed to be delivered in 2 working days before 9am, so orders
placed on Monday morning would arrive by 9am on the Wednesday.
Tracking codes will be provided so that you can track the progress of
your delivery. Cost: dependant upon delivery address, please enquire.
EXPRESS SATURDAY DELIVERY VIA UPS: Orders placed before 2pm on
Thursday can be guaranteed for delivery on a Saturday to arrive before
9am. Tracking codes will be provided so that you can track the
progress of your delivery. Cost : dependant upon delivery address,
please enquire.

What if
something I've ordered doesn't arrive? |
Once
your order has been placed we can tell you the expected delivery date.
In the unlikely event that your order doesn't arrive when it should,
please contact us on
customerservice@whatpa.co.uk and we will find out what's caused
the delay. If necessary we will arrange for a replacement to be sent
to you at no additional cost. We can supply UPS or Royal Mail
tracking codes upon request.

NON-CARLSBRO ITEMS
If an item is damaged in transit, is faulty on arrival, or becomes
faulty within the warranty period please contact us on
customerservice@whatpa.co.uk and
we will advise you.CARLSBRO ITEMS
If an item is damaged in transit, is faulty on arrival, or becomes
faulty within the warranty period your problem will be dealt with
quickly and efficiently via the
Online Returns Form at
http://www.carlsbro.com/onlinereturns.php.
Items Damaged in Transit
If an item is visibly damaged then the carriers delivery note must be
signed and the product accepted as if a normal delivery. All items
damaged in transit must be reported within 24 hours of the unit being
received via the
Online Returns Form as
above. Carlsbro will arrange collection of the damaged product
and all accessories delivered with the product must be returned in the
original or suitable packaging. Once received back into the warehouse,
a replacement will be sent.
Items Faulty on Arrival
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 7 working days in which
to inform us of the fault via the
Online Returns Form at
http://www.carlsbro.com/onlinereturns.php. All items must be
returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories.
Any products returned with a genuine fault will be replaced with an
identical unit.
Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If any product develops a fault within the warranty period, you are
entitled to return the product to Carlsbro to be repaired within the
terms of the warranty via the
Online Returns Form at
http://www.carlsbro.com/onlinereturns.php. The warranty repair
will only be carried out for product that has not been damaged by the
user. Please see the warranty terms and conditions on the relevant
brochure.
Returns Authorisation Number
All products must be returned with a returns authorisation number as
generated via the
Online Returns Form at
http://www.carlsbro.com/onlinereturns.php or by calling our
Carlsbro returns line on 0845 258 2902. Any product returned without
this number may be refused, returned to the user and an invoice raised
for the carriage costs. If a product is accepted without an
authorisation number there may be a delay of up to 30 days to repair
or replace and return the product. No other carrier must be used
unless previously agreed by Carlsbro.
Replacement or Repair
All returned items will be tested, and if found faulty will either be
repaired or replaced and returned to the customer free of charge. If a
returned item is found not to be faulty then the item will be returned
back to the customer and a handling charge will be applied.
Carlsbro may ask for proof of purchase to be provided with all returns
if sufficient information is not submitted. Carlsbro are not liable
for items damaged due to incorrect packaging.
Unwanted items (not faulty) can be returned to us for a full
refund within 14 days of purchase. The goods must be complete,
undamaged and with all original packaging. The cost of returning the
goods to us must be met by the customer. We can arrange courier
collection and return on your behalf if required, but you will be
liable for the cost. Our returns policy is in addition to and
does not affect your statutory rights.
